exploring, discovering and learning what's truly better for us and the people we care about most
All of us know what's naturally better for us because we're hardwired to recognize and pursue it...based on everything we've experienced so far. But every time we learn something better, we realize that we don't know it all yet...and with each new discovery, we can grow from it, or resist it...based on whatever we choose. Better discussions are aimed at exploring and discovering, instead of arguing and forcing...but there's one thing everyone one of them has in common--we're here to willfully and progressively add value from every discussion we have!
Better can be viewed in over one hundred different ways, but The Better Project only pursue one kind, the kind that willfully and progressively adds value. We don't decide for anyone what's better, that's entirely up to them. But the more experiences and perspectives we share, the more we can learn from each other, and willfully and progressively add value however we choose.
We conduct Better Discussions in one of two ways, Online or In-Person. Online discussions can happen anywhere and anytime, but live discussions are planed in enough time that participants can make room and join them. In-person discussions are also scheduled, by either local hosts or BITTs (Better Itinerant Teachers and Trainers). Each discussion includes a specific topic and method of exploration, but where things go from there is completely up to the participants and hosts...as long as they willfully and progressively add value.
The topics for discussion include two general categories, details about The Better Project and how to participate, or Better Concepts that range from Recognizing What's Truly Better, to Pursuing Better Self-Discipline. They all begin with content already prepared for discussion, but the hope is that every discussion adds value to what's already known, for not only participants, but also the The Better Project as a whole.
If you're interested in joining a Better Discussion, simply click the chat button below and share your interests and general worldview so we can match you with people that share them both--we don't host discussions that are likely to generate extreme conflicts, and if they ever move in that direction, they are quickly turned or ended...so we can willfully and progressively add value instead. As you can see from the above graphic The Better Project has a lot of moving pieces, but none of it's possible without a whole wide world of participation! Better is only possible when everyone participates, so if you want to know more about how to do that, or encourage others to do the same, then sign-up for one of the above discussions to see how you can help, and also help the people you care about most!
