Traveling to those who require
Better Teaching or Training In Person
The overall goal of The Better Project is to make recognizing and pursuing a better life for us and the people we care about most more effective for everyone, and that's what Better Itinerant Teaching and Training (BITT) can help jump-start in local communities. Itinerant simply means intentional traveling, and when it comes to The Better Project, that means intentionally sharing Better Concepts in-person, for those who require a more personal touch.
Better Concepts range from recognizing what's truly better, to learning how to realize it with the people we care about too. And while everything TBP offers will be readily available online (in writing, discussions, audio and video), that's not the same thing as learning in person...when you can ask specific questions and hear direct answers from a Better Associate. Just about anything's available online these days, which can be overwhelming to some, and raise doubts in others...so The Better Project takes to the streets in areas a more personal touch is required.
Some of the The Better Project's (TBP) concepts can seem too good to be true, and the word 'better' is controversial to many. So BITTs teach anyone interested in learning more about TBP in robust Q&A session to relieve any doubts and invite ongoing participation. The only way TBP can succeed is by including as many people as possible in the pursuit of what's truly better for everyone, and if that requires meeting with thousands of people in person, BITTs are ready and willing!
Better Concepts are very intuitive for many, but quite foreign to others, especially when they initially conflict personally or morally. But Better Concepts are universal, applying to all worldviews, cultures and lifestyles. While life for everyone is personal, and we all adopt cultural norms, we also share a lot in common, and that's what BITTs focus on most...what truly works for everyone! BITTs can help just about anyone recognize and pursue what's truly better, and when it requires a more personal touch to begin with, BITTs are on the way!
Better Training begins where learning Better Concepts leaves off--it's one thing to recognize something intellectually, it's entirely different when we start practicing it for real! Sessions specifically designed to practice what's truly better, instead of just thinking about it, take words off pages and ideas from videos to real-life situations and and hands-on experiences that can be repeated over and over again. And the more we include the people we care about most in these sessions, the more we're growing together too!

We've met in just about every public place you can imagine, but if you can think of somewhere new, we're open...as long as you can get at least six or more people to join you! And as you can see from the number of cities we visit each year, there's no place we won't go if people genuinely want to recognize and pursue what is truly better for them and the people they care about most. So if you see us headed in your direction, keep reading below to consider organizing your own Better Discussion with the people you care about most!"
Colleges, universities and public schools are popular places to meet since everyone is already pursuing better things. And while lecture halls and classrooms are great for larger groups, we'll also meet in fraternity and sorority houses, library meeting rooms or simply gathering on the quad or public park.
There's no charge for attending a Better Discussion since its all about sharing what's truly better together. Better Associates learn as much from participants as they learn from them, because The Better Project doesn't tell anyone how to live, it simply shares better ways of thinking about what's truly better, and pursuing it with the people they care about most. And because there's no charge for attending, it's much easier for us to meet in public places, like libraries, parks or any other meeting place open to the public.
The Better Project is for everyone, any ideology, religion or worldview is welcome, as long as those in attendance are not in direct conflict with one another (unless local organizers are responsible for keeping the peace). So we can meet in churches, speak at political gatherings or gather anywhere anyone wants to learn about pursuing what's truly better for everyone...including themselves.
